Beauty Tips for Summer Skin and Body

During the summer both skin and body need special attention: Your skin can change , becoming a few shades darker, oilier due to heat and humidity or a bit parched in dry heat .You body, should be ready for the bikini challenge, so all the sins of the winter must be… absolved. Here are some simple things you can do to be healthy and gorgeous during summer.

General Beauty Tips:

  • Never go out into the sun without sun block. Apply sunscreen 30 minutes prior to going outdoors and the re-apply every three hours. The SPF should be as high as 20 and if possible also use a moisturiser that includes an SPF so you have double protection against the harsh sun.
  • Nourish your body from within. What you eat shows on your skin and affects the health of you hair and nails. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables along with ray nuts such as almonds to give skin a healthy tone.
  • Drink eight glasses of water or more each day. This is especially important in Cyprus, due to the heat and the air conditioning.
